Richard D. Kurtz, 45, a longtime resident of Huntington Beach, passed away suddenly at HOAG Hospital. His death was caused by a brain aneurysm. He was born September 24, 1961 in Chicago, IL, son of Norbert & Dolores Kurtz.

Richard was the founder of kurtzunlimited, a large scale graphic print & design company with clients such as "Entourage", "the practice", "The ESPY Awards", "Access Hollywood", "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", "Detroit Zoo", "Republican National Convention", "The Haunting", HBO's "Lansky" & "Lexus" just to name a few.

To meet Rich was to make a friend for life. With a personality that lit up a room, his generosity of spirit & kind heart will be sorely missed by all who were touched by him. His loss has indeed left the world a sadder place. In keeping with his giving nature, Rich gave the ultimate gift - the Gift of Life - to multiple fortunate souls, their family and friends, by being an organ donor.

He was a friend to all, loving brother of Michael (Carla), Jerry (Janice) , Billy (Suzan), Jean (Westy) Foss & Lori (Jeff) Watkins. Step-brother to Kathleen (Rich) Bauer, Suzanne (Tom) Kennedy, Ray (Eilleen) Foley, Tom (Kim) Foley. Cherished uncle of Logan Kurtz, Cody & Melody Foss, Lindsay & Natalie Watkins, John, Chris, Alex & Ryan Kurtz, Dan & David Bauer, Mark & Ailleen Kennedy & Audrey Foley.

Rich was preceded in death by his father, Norbert, step-father, Robert Foley & Robert Foley, Jr.
